We at Kyushu Electric Power are committed to conducting socially meaningful corporate activities with long-term viewpoint under "Kyushu Electric Power's Mission" as we believe these activities will continuously create values to all the stakeholders. In order to adequately pursue these corporate activities, we are working to enhance corporate governance systems as an important management issue. As the basis for our corporate governance, our core governance structures consist of the Board of Directors and the Board of Corporate Auditors and work to strengthen the supervisory functions of the Board of Directors, define the roles of supervision and execution and ensure that all management decisions are in compliance with laws and regulations. We also established basic policies concerning the development of internal control systems to ensure the appropriateness of company business and strive for continuous enhancement of these systems.
