| KKyushu Electric concluded an exchange agreement with the Thai Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) in 2000, and since then there has been repeated interaction. As part of these exchanges, a request was received from PEA for cooperation in connection with a high voltage training center now being constructed outside Bangkok, with the objective of training power technicians for the ASEAN Region. Details of the requested cooperation were examined over reciprocal visits, and as a result, training consulting is being carried out with the objective of transferring technique on transmission tower maintenance and erection over a three-year period. |

| Kyushu Electric concluded an agreement for the energy saving diffusion in China's Textile Industry between partner companies of Japan and China in "Japan-China Energy Conservation Forum" held in 2009 and 2010. Kyushu Electric has been awarded technical consulting service by the Green Ensign (Beijing) New Energy & Utility Technology Development Co., Ltd. of a Chinese partner coordinating an energy saving improvement project and we are providing suggestions concerning an energy saving diagnosis and the facilities retrofit for dye works. |

Kyushu Electric has been awarded "Feasibility Study on Programme CDM to Introduce the High-Performance Tenters to the Dye Works in Zhejiang Province, PR China", one of "CDM/JI Feasibility Studies" by Global Environment Centre Foundation (GEC).
