Conclusion of the Exchange Agreement with NTPC

Kyushu Electric Power Company concluded the Exchange Agreement with NTPC, a public sector thermal power generating company of India, on February 19 in Fukuoka.

NTPC is the largest thermal power generating company of India provided 89.5% of the capital by the Government of India. NTPC's share in the total installed capacity of the country is approximately 20% and it contributes 28% of the total power generation of the country.

Kyushu Electric Power Company will promote mutual understanding through active exchanges and exchange information on the areas such as power generation and environmental issues with NTPC to seek future expansion of our business overseas.
