On 16 March 2026, Kyuden International Corporation (“Kyuden International”), a member of the Kyuden Group, announced that its U.S. subsidiary, Kyuden International Americas, Inc., had entered into a Stock Purchase Agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of IHI Power Services Corporation (“IHI Power Services”), a consolidated subsidiary of IHI Corporation. Following the announcement, Kyuden International proceeded with the required preparations to complete the acquisition and make the company a wholly owned subsidiary.

Kyuden International is pleased to announce that all required regulatory approvals have been obtained and that the share transfer has been successfully completed. Following the completion of the transaction, IHI Power Services has been renamed Kyuden Energy Partners Corporation and has commenced operations as a member of the Kyuden Group.

This transaction marks the Kyuden Group’s first entry into the operation and maintenance (“O&M”) business in the United States. Through the acquisition and full integration of Kyuden Energy Partners Corporation, Kyuden International will strengthen its business platform in the O&M sector while further enhancing its power generation business in the United States and diversifying its earnings base.

The Kyuden Group will continue to utilize its advanced technological capabilities and extensive experience developed in Japan, to further expand its business globally, while working towards the realization of the Kyuden Group Strategic Vision 2035.
