Today, we hereby announce that we received the construction planning permission(detailed design) of Genkai nuclear power station No.4 and the permission for change in safety regulations (operational management, system) of Genkai Nuclear Power Station from Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NRA). We applied for them on July 12^th 2013 in order to be reviewed regarding conformance to the new regulatory requirements.

　We will apply for the pre-operation inspection of Genkai No.4 to confirm that the safety measure equipment at the power station is in accordance with the permitted construction planning.
　In addition, based on the permitted safety regulations, we will implement initiatives such as improvements of the response system in case of an emergency accident and implementation of training, and we will make every effort to ensure safety for restarts.

　We will continue to diligently and carefully handle to the NRA's review, and make efforts to communicate with the community.
