The application for permission for a change in reactor installation regarding Specific Safety Facilities (SSFs)^* of Sendai nuclear power station unit No.1 and 2 was accepted on April 5^th 2017.
Today, we submitted to NRA the application for approval of construction planning regarding "Newly installed facilities".

　This application is related to newly installed facilities like power generators.

　We will make an effort to deal with the NRA's inspections respectfully and sincerely, as well as to improve safety and reliability of nuclear power stations.

^*SSFs
　They have a function to prevent damages of containment vessel. They are preparation in case cooling functions for nuclear reactor stop and a reactor core gets fatal damages due to terrorism such like an intentional collision of jumbo airplane toward a reactor support building. New regulatory requirements, which was enforced in July 2013, request to install them.
