Today, We announce that we received the permission for a change in reactor installation of Specific Safety Facilities of Genkai Nuclear Power Station No.3, 4 from Nuclear Regulatory Authority, which we applied for on December 20, 2017.

　We will continue to make best efforts to improve safety and reliability of our nuclear power stations.

Note: Specific Safety Facilities

　Facilities which have the capability to prevent damage of containment vessel needed for the times when the loss of the cooling functions and subsequent damage of the reactor due to the deliberate collision of an aircraft and other terrorism to the reactor. And establishment of them are required by the new regulatory standard enforced in July 2013.
