Kyushu Electric Power Company today concluded the Agreement on Cooperation Framework regarding the development of renewable energy with China Datang Corporation (CDT) and Sumitomo Corporation at China-Japan Joint Seminar on Energy Cooperation arranged along with the visit by Wen Jiabao, the Premier of China.
Since 2005, we have discussed wind power generation project in China's province Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region with CDT and Sumitomo Corporation. This agreement covers wider range of cooperation framework including this project.
By signing this Agreement on Cooperation Framework with CDT, one of the five large-scaled state-owned power generation enterprises in China, and Sumitomo Corporation, Kyushu Electric Power Company will promote its contribution on Chinese society through the development of renewable energy in China.
