Informal Appointment of the Executive Officers

Kyushu Electric Power Company, Inc. today announced its informal appointment of the Directors and Auditors.
The official appointment decision will be made at an extraordinary meeting of the Board of Directors and a meeting of the Board of Corporate Auditors held after the 84th shareholders' meeting on June 27, 2008.
We have also appointed Senior Managing Executive Officers and Managing Executive Officers.
