Completion of the installation of MOX fuel to Genkai Nuclear Power Station

 Kyushu Electric Power Company has announced that the MOX fuel (Uranium-plutonium Mixed Oxide fuel) for our pluthermal operation at the Unit 3 at Genkai Nuclear Power Station has been shipped from Europe and been carried in to the power station today.

 We will work with the safety as our priority in the rest of the procedures and steadily conduct our pluthermal project with the understandings from local community.

 The actual transport details will be announced after the completion of the transportation to Shikoku Electric Power CO., Inc.
