Financial Forecast Revision for the six months of FY2010

Kyushu Electric Power Company Inc., has revised the financial forecasts for the six months of FY2010 (from April 1st, 2010 to September 30th, 2010) announced on July 30th, 2010 based on the recent business circumstances and its performance.

2. The Reason for Revision
Kyushu Electric Power has revised the financial forecasts for the six months ended September 30, 2010 as above taking into consideration the increase of electricity sales volume due to the high temperature in this summer and the rescheduling of some of originally planned maintenance and other expenses to the second half of the fiscal year.
