Overseas energy business & Overseas consulting business

Kyuden International Corporation acts as the driving force for the Kyushu Electric Power Company in overseas business, providing electricity-focused energy solutions globally, and contributing to the creation of a future society that is both comfortable and environmentally-friendly. Using the technology and know-how that has been accumulated in Japan and abroad, we are developing our overseas business by IPP investment activities and consulting services.

Most of our IPP projects are located in Asia, as market growth is high, but we are also active in other parts of the world such as North America, Latin America and the Middle East. Our goal for 2030 is to increase our equity ownership in overseas electricity output to 5,000 MW.

Using our extensive expertise in the power generation business, we provide consulting services such as planning, preliminary surveys and diagnosis/efficiency improvements. Together with companies within the Kyuden Group or other highly specialized partners in our network, we can offer a full range of consultancy services and provide customer specific solutions.
