Application procedure
(Note) We will send you a letter of notification once the application procedure is complete.
(Note) It may take a month or more for the credit card payment application to be processed. Please continue to pay your bill using the current method in the meantime.
Electricity bill payment by credit card
Before you apply
From the credit card company
- Customers with high-voltage contracts and customers who are paying for multiple contracts at once will not be able to pay using this method.
- Two months’ worth of electricity fees may be charged to your account at once depending on your credit card billing cycle and Kyushu Electric Power’s meter inspection date.
- Electricity bills must be paid in a single payment.
- Please contact Kyushu Electric Power swiftly when changing credit card companies or if your credit card number has changed.
From Kyushu Electric Power
- The direct deposit discount will not be applicable to customers paying by credit card.
- Kyushu Electric Power will not be issuing electricity bill receipts. Please refer to the detailed statement issued by the credit card company.
- If the electricity bill is not approved for payment by the credit card company or if the customer is no longer a credit card member based on credit card company terms, then the electricity bill will need to be paid using the payment voucher sent to the customer from Kyushu Electric Power.
- It may take a month or more from credit card payment application to be processed. Please continue to pay your bill using the current method in the meantime.
- A notification letter will be sent once the application procedure is complete.
- If the credit card payment fails to go through more than two consecutive times, then we may no longer accept payment by credit card.
- Another application will need to be filed if the place of service changes due to a move or such.
