Notes
  • If the scheduled transfer date for the fixed date direct debit or the due date direct debit falls on a weekend or holiday, the transfer will occur on the following business day.
  • If the last day of the month in the end-of-month direct debit falls on a weekend or holiday, the transfer will occur on the previous business day.
  • If the 29th or the 30th is the specified scheduled transfer date, then the transfer will occur on the last day of the month for February.
  • The scheduled transfer date may be set to be after the due date but the delinquency charge will not be incurred as long as the transfer goes through.
  • If the transfer doesn’t go through, then a delinquency charge will be incurred on the outstanding electricity bill. The delinquency charge will be calculated at an annual rate of 10% (approximately 0.03% per day) for the period between the day after the due date until the day the amount is paid.
  • This payment method is not subject to the direct deposit discount.
  • This payment method may not be available at some financial institutions.
  • If the transfer doesn’t go through, then payment by direct deposit for your contract will be canceled and you will be required to pay using a payment voucher from a convenience store or financial institution.
  • Depending on the specified date, the actual transfer date may fall on the next month or the month after that.

Before signing up to the service

  1. The “Notification of the start of the direct deposit of the electricity bill” will be sent to you after the direct deposit procedure is complete. It may take more than a month for the direct deposit application to be processed. Please continue to pay your bill using the current method in the meantime.
  2. The actual monthly transfer date will change depending on weekends and holidays. The specific date will be notified through “Notification of your power use”.
  3. The direct deposit results (receipt) for each month will be attached to the “Notification of your power use”.
  4. If the transfer doesn’t go through on the specified date and payment is not received before the due date (30th day counting from the day after the meter inspection), then a delinquency charge may be incurred on the outstanding electricity bill. The delinquency charge is calculated at an annual rate of 10% (approximately 0.03% per day) for the period between the day after the due date until the day the amount is payed.
    If the transfer doesn’t go through, then the direct deposit for your account may be canceled and you may be required to pay using a payment voucher from a convenience store or financial institution.
