Purpose of Joint Use

For the conclusion, amendment, or termination of a Wheeling Service Agreement or a Power Amount Adjustment Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Wheeling Service, etc., Agreement").
For the purpose of the cancellation and mediation ^{(Note 6)} of a retail supply contract (including contracts related to supply to remote islands, etc., and final-resort supply) or an electricity supply and demand contract (hereinafter referred to as the "Retail Supply, etc., Agreement").
For the purpose of confirming information about the supply (or receiving) point.
For the purpose of our company and power distribution business operators performing duties based on the Wheeling Service, etc., Agreement, including meter reading of electricity, maintenance, inspection, and replacement of facilities, and investigation of facilities during power outages or disasters.

（Note 2） The term "retail electricity business operator" refers to a business operator that does not fall under the reasons for refusal of registration stipulated in Article 2-5, Paragraph 1 of the Electricity Business Act (Act No. 170 of July 11, 1964) and has been registered as a retail electricity business operator by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. (This includes business operators deemed to have received registration as a retail electricity business operator pursuant to the supplementary provisions of the Act for Partial Revision of the Electricity Business Act, etc. [Act No. 72 of 2014]). （Note 4） A demand suppression contractor refers to a business operator that has concluded a demand suppression adjustment supply contract with a member who is a general transmission and distribution or power distribution company. (This includes business operators that have acquired a business code before concluding a contract).
